A total of 27 startups will take part in Bind 4.0’s second acceleration programme after being selected by the companies that will hire them for an Industry 4.0 project. This is almost three times as many as took part in the first edition. They focus on IoT (35%), cybersecurity (25%), artificial vision (18%), VR/AR (18%), big data (18%) and additive manufacturing (15%). 5 different countries will be represented.

A total of 385 startups applied from all around the world and 50 were pre-selected before pitching to the 27 industrial partners of Bind 4.0. The selection process has included 5 days of pitches and personal meetings during the Basque Industry 4.0 event in November.

The acceleration programme, which includes pitching and professional lessons with highly qualified mentors and visits to the partners, will start on January 12th and will last 6 months. At the same time, the startups will be developing Industry 4.0 projects for large companies, which will provide them with a quality customer. Partners value the open innovation and digital transformation provided by the relationship with startups.
