We are so proud to reveal the names of the international startups selected for the 4th edition of the Bind 4.0 Acceleration Program beginning January 2020!
Bind 4.0 Opened registration worldwide in July 2019 and received 577 Applicants from 78 countries, which we evaluated and compared to the specified needs of our Partner firms in the areas of technology and innovation applied to Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Energy, Health Tech and the Food Tech sectors.
Then we narrowed down the candidates to those who would be pitching their solutions in October 2019 to the Partner companies they’d potentially be collaborating with. From their, the 80 final candidates were invited to showcase or attend the Meeting Point – Basque Industry 4.0 event in Bilbao where Finalists met with our Partners and discussed the parameters of an Industry 4.0 project they would carry out during the 24-week acceleration program.
Once the Startups and Industry Leading Partner Firms agreed on a project and contract, the announcements could be made…
We have selected 38 emerging startups coming from all around the world. The startups will develop a grand total of 53 innovative industry 4.0 projects. This represents a 20% of increase in the number of projects selected compared to the previous edition.
The startups selected offer innovative technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, internet of things and big data, which together, represent 60% of the solutions offered this year. Something new this year is the high number of projects focused on Artificial Vision, followed by Cybersecurity, Nanotechnology and Robotics.
