67 Tech Startup Finalists with Industry 4.0 Solutions
The BIND 4.0 Open Innovation Platform presented hundreds of qualified applicants to our Corporate Partners who have identified 67 Startup Finalists with the potential to work on collaborative innovation projects. This year we received the largest number of International applicants in our 6 editions so far, resulting in 46% of the Finalist teams coming from outside of Spain.
International startups came from technology and innovation hubs like Germany, Israel, Switzerland, and the UK, plus Slovakia, Poland, and as far as Japan. Proving once again that the BIND 4.0 Open Innovation & Acceleration Program has established itself as an international platform of reference with the potential to impact startups worldwide.
These Finalist Startups with disruptive solutions have already gone through the initial selection process and pitching sessions with our 70 Corporate Partner companies and are now in the final matchmaking phase. Startups that reach agreements on the scope of paid Industry 4.0 projects to be developed with their Corporate Clients, will be the participants of the 7th edition of the BIND 4.0 Acceleration Program starting in 2023. Let’s take a closer look at the technologies best rated by our Corporate Partners, those currently under consideration for BIND 4.0 Startup-Corporate Open Innovation projects.
Trending Technologies for 2023
As with past editions, we have noticed a steady increase in technologies being evaluated that are based on Artificial Intelligence and solutions like the Internet of Things (IOT and IIOT) which can be applied across verticals. In addition, there has been heavy interest from the BIND 4.0 Corporate Partners in Energy Devices, Quality Control solutions, Predictive Maintenance, Artificial Vision and Collaborative Robotics.
This year, we have seen the immersion of new technologies like Biobased solutions for the Food and Health Tech Industries and Additive Manufacturing with a variety of materials.
