Artadi Alimentación, also known as OKIN, which means ‘Baker’ in basque language, is a family-run business founded in 1994 in the Basque Country (Zumaia). OKIN is the leading manufacturer of frozen rustic, ready to cook breads in Spain and southern France. We have an installed production capacity of 90000 MT, that we produce with our 5 fully automatized lines greatly developed by our own engineering department.
OKIN is committed to healthy bread. In this sense, the Clean Label philosophy serves as the basis for our Health and Innovation developments. We continue to improve, attentive to the smallest details in classic breads, whilst investing in new recipes and ranges to cater to more specific niches.
The company seeks the best partners for its R&D&I projects, and, while providing the baking know-how, we collaborate with universities, innovation centers or associations who contribute with their own specific knowledge.
