Xnext Bind Industry 40 Acceleration Program Startup

Xnext is a technology innovator with the ambition to impact the quality inspection field thanks to XSpectra, our proprietary disruptive technology.

  • Project: Xnext & Natra. XSpectra® is a disruptive technology as it overcomes the weaknesses of conventional inspection technologies. It’s by far the most performing real-time inspection technology, the result of over 8 years of R&D. Based on X-ray multi-energy analysis, XSpectra® is capable to perform, in few milliseconds and directly on the production line, a chemical-physical analysis of the product to identify foreign bodies (both low and high density) and non-conformities currently not detectable by existing inspection technologies. It’s a very complex system, the result of a unique combination of Photonics, Nuclear micro-Electronics and Deep Learning Artificial Intelligence Algorithms. The whole system has been designed, developed and engineered in-house by the Xnext team. Since the system runs through AI algorithms, beside the core activity, the detection of contaminants, XSpectra generates a relevant amount of data on the inspected product, which could be used to support the smart factory and zero-defect production approaches to significantly improve the process efficiency. es.
